For the spring summer 2010 season, the aim of bright and bold colours is to wear them alone or along with trendy nudes. Versace, Bottega Veneta and Marni suggest going head to toe with rainbow colours like mellow yellow or pistachio while designer Adam Lippes (from fashion house Adam) recommends a combo of contrasting pop colors and soft, natural pastels.
This idea of a perfect colour balance is being applauded by Yigal Azrouël who was inspired with springtime brights of Istanbul. The warm end and a cool side of Nanette Lepore‘s collection brings back her childhood memories of country garden sunsets.
