Hello!

My name’s Gabi and I’m a 32-year-old fashionista from Poland.

It may sound a bit cliché but yes, fashion has always been an important part of my life. It all started when I was a kid and when I realised I had a quite artistic soul. My favourite activity was obviously spending endless hours playing with my Barbie and designing dream clothes for her which I would sew on my own. I also had a dream about becoming a supermodel but my love for good food eventually gained the upper hand. After all, fashion designer sounded more attractive and possible taking into consideration my famous namesake, Gabrielle Chanel.

Meet Gabi, Fashion Allure’s editor and owner

Easier said than done, unfortunately so I decided to bud with a professional fashion blog in the first place. I’m a perfectionist so I aim to run the blog with a top-notch attitude. After doing an extensive research, I write every blog post on my own, mostly about present fashion trends in clothing, makeup and accessories. None of you should be surprised that shoes are my favourite accessory. Marilyn Monroe had a great catch phrase which I totally agree with: “Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.”

Let’s talk about my fashion preferences now. Since I’m a huge Victoria Beckham’s fan and I’m so proud of her achievements in fashion, my dream is to spend a Fashion Week with her and of course, being invited to her fashion show ( so I assume it should be New York Fashion Week, shouldn’t it?). Therefore, there is no surprise Victoria Beckham tops my fashion icon list. There is also Kate Moss, and Sarah Jessica Parker. As of fashion designers and houses, I like Giambattista Valli, Stella McCartney, Burberry Prorsum, Hervé Léger, and Balmain the most.
