Dramatic gowns and romantic pastel dresses dominated red carpets of 2013 Cannes Film Festival. From Nicole Kidman to Cheryl Cole, see the best looks from the most glamorous film festival of the year.
Nicole stole the show at the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony in an embroidered dress from Dior Haute Couture collection. The actress looked striking in a beautiful floral design set off with Dior’s fluorescent pumps and a bright lipstick. She also rocked a punk chic hairstyle, a bit daring addition to the elegant gown.
At the Cannes premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis, Jessica made a statement in an embroidered Marchesa mid-length dress. The breathtaking design with an exotic twist featured a feathered hemline. Mrs Timberlake accessorized it with a snake Bulgari Serpenti necklace, nude sling-backs and a Marchesa beaded clutch.
At the Cleopatra premiere, Jessica was a picture of grace in a dramatic long-sleeve Versace design. The beautiful all-white train gown was a conservative background to the Elizabeth Taylor Bulgari necklace she chose for the occasion. Sapphire stood out while the actress took center-stage. Her enviable auburn locks styled in retro waves and a coral pout completed the look.
Fashion icon Olivia took the spotlight at the Cannes premiere of ‘The Immigrant’ in a gold sequin halter gown from Roberto Cavalli’s collection. The stylish frock sparkled underneath a printed Zara blazer paired with a pearl bracelet and plumed feather clutch. A slick hairdo and smoky eyes completed Olivia’s golden look.
Cheryl made a entrance to the Cannes premiere of Jimmy P. in a floor-sweeping burgundy gown from Zuhair Murad. In addition to the dramatic sheer gown, the new L’Oreal brand ambassador paid a lot of attention to hair and makeup she wore that night. This time, Cheryl’s usual blowout was tied into a fabulous loose French braid.
