Every year the British Fashion Council (BFC) puts on one of the biggest fashion events, the London Fashion Week (LFW). Designers from all over the world gather for this large and high profile event and show off their latest designs. Many people register for a chance to view these events, but only around 5,000 are actually accepted and will attend. As one of the “Big Four” this fashion week is the top of the top along with its sister shows. According to the Global Language Monitor, London is currently ranked the no.1 fashion capital in the world.

For those who will attend the Tate Modern and Somerset House will be the two venues for this prominent event. From February 14th until the 18th fashion will be shown all day each day from nine in the morning to nine and night. It may be a long day for viewers but a successful day for buyers, sellers and press.
