Yves Saint Laurent Spring/Summer 2009

As you might have known, or YSL is a luxury fashion house founded in 1962 by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner, Pierre Bergé. Today, its chief designer is Stefano Pilati. Yves Saint Laurent, founder of the brand, died on 1 June, 2008.

The collection is feminine and very classy. Velvet dresses, high-waisted skirts, ‘reticulated’ sandals, clutches, feminine tuxedos, metallics – these are the most remarkable points of this YSL‘s collection. Looks like this spring and summer’s hottest skirts’ trend are ones that cover your knees only. Well, Coco Chanel would always say that knees are the worst part of women’s bodies!
