Łukasz Jemioł is a Polish fashion designer who graduated from Łódź Academy of Fine Arts. I know this may not seem impressive but I believe fashion is not only about education. It’s mainly about talent and creativity. I don’t usually compliment Polish designers’ collections because there isn’t much to compliment. But this time, believe me it’s different.

Łukasz Jemioł’s PR managers took a great step ahead by setting up his winter 2011 collection in an exclusive online store BuyVIP. The prices of his frocks were far from reach of ordinary people but I bet every fashionista would immediately fall in love with his tulle ensembles. He creates dresses and gowns without unnecessary embellishments, structurally modified, with the worked out detail. His trademark is the highest quality fabric – in accordance with a natural and the new generation’s flair. Łukasz Jemioł values the most a personal style of an informal elegance.
In October he presented a spring summer 2011 collection in Fashion Week in Lisbon which was fresh, light and dedicated to women who are fond of exceptionality. He likes to play with contrasts. Łukasz Jemioł juxtaposes luxurious fabrics with apparent lack of structure, light colours with heavy ones, soft, flowing fabrics with stiff ones.
Łukasz Jemioł is lucky to dress Anja Rubik, Alicja Bachleda-Curuś and other famous Polish women. I wish him lots of luck and keep my fingers crossed for his career!
