I knew my capsule wardrobe and my winter shoe collection was not complete without a pair of leather equestrian boots. Although I have always admired Ralph Lauren's equestrian fashions, I have never had equestrian boots. Until now. A few days ago I received an ample pack from Get The Label.
The size of the pack did not scare me because I knew what was there – 17 inch high Timberland Rangeley boots. Made of leather, with side buckle detailing at the ankle and a low block wood heel, the boots caught my eye. I knew it was a smart investment although it did not take long to make that decision.
The boot has exposed line panels which I did not like in the beginning but now I think this detail complements the boot's rough finish. Other features include side zip fastening and a superbly-snug fit around the calf with backstay gore to allow adjustments. Sadly, calf circumference is not enough for me 🙁 when I loose some weight, I will work a confident look with these slim-calf boots and post the picture here 🙂
All in all, Rangeley boots from Timberland are a versatile addition to any wardrobe. They will look great with a fringe top and suede skirt which are a definite must-have this season. I also invision wearing them with a wide brim hat and a cape.
