Early spring is the time when it is still usually cold out but we’re all looking to the fresh trends to try. So the question is, what to wear during the winter-to-spring transition time to stay warm but still look fashionable? We focus on the street fashion and style choices of celebrities when they’re out and about. See the hottest trends spotted off the runway and tell us, which outfit would you be most likely to wear.
Olivia Palermo’s Leather Leggings
The former reality star got around town in a monochromatic, dark ensemble consisting of a cozy knit turtleneck and leather leggings. Olivia added some spring into her step with accessories: a black Givenchy tote and multi-hued embroidered heels from the L.K. Bennett by Carolina Issa collection. We’re loving the shoes for 3 reasons: they give the unexpected pop of colour, feature a trendy ankle strap and cute pom poms dangling on the back.
Miranda Kerr’s Denim on Denim
Miranda Kerr has one of the most desirable wardrobes because she never sticks to one style and always looks great. This time Victoria’s Secret stunner strolled L.A. with her toddler Flynn in a casual denim look. Miranda rocked a trendy denim on denim look with light-wash ripped jeans from MANGO’s spring summer 2013 collection she models herself and a darker tone casual button down. The catwalk star accessorized her street style with a pair of cute slipper loafers and acetate frames.
Jessica Alba’s Biker Jacket
Jessica went out and about in N.Y.C. living up a casual leather look with a touch of spring. The always-cool look of a biker jacket (from Ralph Lauren Collection) was softened with the ethereal Prabal Gurung printed skirt and the ladylike Rupert Sanderson T-strap sandals. Also, a black Dolce & Gabbana tote and a chain strap crossbody bag were a perfectly whimsical addition to the stylish mom’s separates.
Emmy Rossum’s Bold Accessories
Looking ready for spring, the Shameless star hit the streets of West Hollywood in an adorable garden party-ready design at the affordable price. Emmy used accessories to completely alter the look of her outfit. Therefore, the mixe and match Topshop mini dress was paired with the exclusive colourblock Farida tote designed by Christian Louboutin, patent leather ballet flats and cat-eye sunglasses. This is a proof that you can still look stylish in a dress under $100 since it’s the accessories that make the outfit.
Kate Beckinsale’s Pastel Blazer
The beautiful actress went shopping in a fashionable daytime layered look. Her white sheer blouse and whiskered denim pants were topped with a pastel blazer that is usually very popular choice for spring. It’s no wonder since blazers add a dash of sophistication and style to any transitional outfit. Kate knows that matching accessories is often a fashion faux pas, as it can result in an overkill of a certain colour. Thus, she chose a blue chainstrap Chanel bag and grey suede booties.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s printed pants
Supremodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was seen leaving a John Freida hair salon in Los Angeles in a lacy white top and pink and purple paisley-print pants by Isabel Marant. The star showed her range in nude sandals, oversized shades, a lust-worthy satchel from Saint Laurent and a cute pout. Looks like Rosie has read my blog post about printed pants where I wrote that the graphically bold patterns stand out best against vibrant colours and primitive accessories.
